In the fourth quarter of 2024, several cryptocurrency apps on the Android platform in Egypt showed notable trends in weekly downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting with around 19K in early October and peaking at over 38K in early December. The app maintained a robust user base, with active users rising from approximately 382K to 566K mid-quarter before settling at around 476K by the end of December.

OKX: Buy Bitcoin BTC & Crypto experienced a varied download pattern, beginning with 7.1K and reaching a high of 19.9K in mid-November, before tapering off to 4.7K by the end of the year. Active users displayed a steady climb, peaking at about 105K in late November.

Pi Network showed a consistent increase in downloads throughout the quarter, with numbers rising from 4.9K to over 10K in early December. Active users surged significantly, from 137K at the start to 237K by the end of December.

Bybit: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto recorded a gradual increase in downloads, peaking at 6.2K in late December. The app's active users increased steadily, reaching nearly 79K by the end of the quarter.

Sweat Wallet: Crypto & Rewards maintained a consistent download rate, with a slight increase from 4.4K to 5.8K throughout the quarter. Active users showed fluctuations, starting at 118K and peaking at 125K in mid-November before ending the year at around 98K.
